Planting Guide
Planting bare root stock

Dig the hole two to three times as wide and only as deep as the root ball. Now place the plant in the hole. Make sure that the plant is positioned so the top of the root ball is slightly above ground. Fill in with soil to the top of the root ball. Mulch with good compost.

What if you can't plant immediately?
You can delay planting for up to two or three weeks if you are able to keep the roots from drying out. You can do this by applying additional damp paper to bare-root tree plants, or soaking their roots in water.
